Donavan's story

Donavan discovered his passion for working with furniture and vans at Taylor’s Auction Rooms in Montrose, his first job after leaving high school.

In 2015, Donavan saw an opportunity and decided to start his own business, DW Removals at 21 years old, which he ran alongside his job at Taylor’s for 18 months.

With a steady-flow of customers and growing reputation, Donavan decided to quit his job and put all his focus on making DW Removals a successful business.

Surviving the pandemic and the fluctuations in the property market, Donavan decided to branch out from removals and invest in storage facilities, allowing him to provide his customers with a seamless moving experience.

In 2023, Dovanan was pleased to acquire KRC International, and their storage facilities at Broomfield Industrial Estate in Montrose, and has continued to provide reliable storage services to existing customers ever since.

After investing in new self-storage containers for the site, Donavan has his mind focused on the future, with ambitious plans to expand the company’s services, and move forward together as DW Removals & Storage.
